Back in August last year, I was super excited about the prospect of the first Pokémon game to ever hit the Switch. There was a lot I was looking forward to; from the Pokéball Plus to playing multiplayer, and especially finally being able to walk around with my Pokémon again.
I kind of resigned myself to not being able to play it right away, because we didn’t have a Switch and because we didn’t have the money to buy ourselves one.

So lately, I guess everyone has been all in a stir over Pokemon Go’s legendary raids for Articuno, Moltres, and Zapdos.
May I just say for a moment how much I wish it looked like this?
I was only a level 24 on Pokemon Go at the time the raids started. Now, this does mean that I couldn’t play the raids for the birds myself, because it was my understanding that you had to be level 25 to participate in raids. Continue reading “How I Botched My First Pokemon Go Raid”
