When I was about 10 years old, I decided to go to horse summer camp.
It was a really weird decision, given my complete dislike (and more-than-mild fear) of horses, but hey, my friend was going, and I was 10, so there you go.

Last week, I had a nasty surprise on Monday morning. I went to log into Final Fantasy XIV, like I do every morning before work—and I couldn’t.
I had no one to blame but myself; I’d known there was maintenance coming, but I hadn’t been reading the handy notes that Square Enix had been putting up every time I logged in.

Okay. At this point, I’m just going to suck it up and admit it: I may be mildly obsessed with Final Fantasy XIV.
A few months ago, in a haze of sleepiness and coffee deprivation, I saw a news item on the Lodestone for Final Fantasy XIV Online GO and got far too excited.
