Pokémon Let’s Go: A Girly Geek Review

Pokémon Let’s Go: A Girly Geek Review

Back in August last year, I was super excited about the prospect of the first Pokémon game to ever hit the Switch. There was a lot I was looking forward to; from the Pokéball Plus to playing multiplayer, and especially finally being able to walk around with my Pokémon again.

I kind of resigned myself to not being able to play it right away, because we didn’t have a Switch and because we didn’t have the money to buy ourselves one.

Why I’m Excited for Pokémon on the Switch

Why I’m Excited for Pokémon on the Switch

A few months ago, we got one of the fastest Pokémon remakes ever in the form of Pokémon Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon.

These two followed just a year after their original releases, which was a bit of a surprise when, you know, it took us 11 years to get a Hoenn remake, and we’ve pretty much given up on ever seeing Sinnoh again.

It wasn’t until I was going through a series of pictures I’d set up for next week’s Instagram that I realized that the perfect subject was sitting right under my nose. Continue reading “Pokémon Pearl: The Quest for Shaymin”

Mission Possible: My 2018 Game List

Mission Possible: My 2018 Game List

One of the biggest struggles facing gamers today is that of the backlog.

This is a vicious cycle that begins when many, many games hit the market, and there just isn’t enough time to play them all.

Such a terrible problem, right?

Sarcasm aside, I spent some time this week coming up with the games I want to play this year. Obviously, it was a bit of a daunting list, so here are the top three! Continue reading “Mission Possible: My 2018 Game List”
