It’s been such a long time since I made videos! I think the last video upload date for me was sometime in September of 2019, but honestly, things got so incredibly busy at work that I couldn’t find time for it and then I forgot I knew anything at all about it.
So it took me a while to feel like I could make videos again, but this is just the first of a bunch I have planned now that I’m back with it!
Normally, I love posting galleries of the houses I build because well, I am the person who obsesses over screenshots on Pinterest when I’m coming up with ideas. But a little while ago, someone commented on one of my YouTube videos asking me to make a video tour instead, and I loved the idea so here we are.
I’ve done several builds with this house since I bought it about two years ago, mostly beach-themed because well, it is the Mist after all! This current one, though, has to be one of my favourites. It’s partially inspired by a build I saw by Ashen Bride, but I never build exactly as I see things because ultra-designer builds always end up using only a fraction of your house’s space, and I like to balance that with an open floorplan.
Mostly, I just loved the idea of white marble kitchen countertops, and had to try it out! It was really easy, actually, and now it just goes everywhere.
What I was really happy about with this build, though, are the fireplace in the living room, which was an original design, and the office that floats over the basement stairs and makes the house feel so much larger.
Enjoy, and don’t forget to let me know if you’re curious how I did anything!
